Apologies if this has been asked before. I did do a search but found no environment similar to mine.
I am totally new to UTM, which replaced my previous router.
All appear to be working except for VoIP.
My network is very simple: one subnet, a FreePBX box on the LAN connecting to a VoIP provider.
I have created host definitions for the PBX box.
I have created a DNS host definition for my SIP provider.
I enabled VoIP under Network Protection, put the VoIP provider in SIP server network and my FreePBX in SIP client networks, and changed Expectation Mode to client/server networks.
When I dial out I get no audio.
The only way can get VoIP to work properly is by creating a firewall rule:
FreePBX ->any->any
(this works regardless if VoIP is enabled or not under Network Protection).
If I change the protocol to SIP or the destination to the SIP provider I get no audio.
With my previous router when I had a similar behaviour I disabled "SIP ALG". But I cannot find similar settings in the UTM.
What should be the correct settings for VoIP?
(please be gentle on me, I am totally new to this and still getting familiar with the terminology).
