It's been a while since I have been on the forum. I am I need of some help. I just purchased a Chamberlain garage door opener with MyQ. It is supposed to let you monitor/open/close your garage door from anywhere with your smartphone app. It comes with what they call an Internet Gateway. It just plugs into your router and is powered via a wall outlet. The green light is supposed to come on solid when it has an Internet connection. Once you have that you register the Internet Gateway on the smartphone app with its serial number. My problem is that the light never turns solid green meaning it does not have an internet
connection. I know it has to do with my Sophos firewall I built. I have the Home version. I have had this kind of problem before but have managed to fumble my way through the setup and get things working. I can't seem to get this device to work though. Is there anyone willing to give me a hand with this? I need someone willing to be patient and walk me through it in a non-technical fashion. Like I said before, I built it, it works. But I just don't understand everything about setup rules, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
