Need a bug re-opened - Mantis ID 27685

Home user here asking for assistance to get a bug re-opened.
Mantis ID 27685

Firewall rules that utilize time based restrictions do not drop connections that are already established when the time period is reached.

e.g.  A user has video streaming from a website... a time is reached when a time based firewall rule should start blocking the connection.  The connection continues for 20 minutes to an hour after the time has passed.

This used to work in version 8, became a bug in v 9.1 (I think... don't remember exactly) was fixed in a 9.2 or 9.3 something... and now is a bug again.

Thanks for any assistance.  Bob B.

  • Bob, please attach a picture of your firewall rule open in edit mode and copy a few lines from the Firewall log file demonstrating that the Time Event rule failed.

    Cheers - Bob
