For Android devices inside the network push notifications are being blocked. How can I create a rule to allow this? I did not see a service definition for this in UTM9 (SG 310)
Yes, I can access the logs, but not knowing how Google push services work, I don't know what to look for, which is why I posted here to find someone who has also created either a firewall rule or web filter rule to enable this inside their organization.
Hm, my issue is with push notifications, not Play Store as with others, but I see in one post "looks like port 8253 and 5228 are the issue for push notifications." I'll start by opening that up. We need this to work for any Android device inside the network so I guess it needs to be open From any to any.
Unfortunately, the person at the site testing this is out for a few days, so I won't be able to report back soon as to the results.
