"Activate file related patterns" enable blocks download of non viral / malicious file

When Intrusion protection is enabled and Activate file related patterns is also enabled downloading the file listed below will stop at 390 MB (actual file size is 830MB)

Not sure if anyone from Sophos monitors these boards for issues but figured I'd try and report it.

    Nope, it's a user-to-user forum.

    The only way to report to Sophos is by opening up a support case, which you can only do if you have a paid license.  

    Look in the Intrusion Prevention log for the rule(s) that's being triggered to kill your download.  Get the SID number(s) from the log.  Use the SID(s) to disable the individual rule(s) via Rule Modification on the Advanced Tab.
