Static Routing not working

Hello, 

I'm sure I am doing something wrong as the static routing couldn't be easier but I cant seem to get it to route.

I have a Cisco router at our HQ that connects via MPLS to one of our other offices, presently we have static routes set up on our Watchguard firewall that passes any traffic for this office (10.0.11.0/24) over to the cisco router (10.0.7.254), this then routes over and everything is happy.

I am getting the Sophos UTM ready for production and need to set up the similar route to copy what the watchguard was doing but for some reason my static route just doesn't route. Am I missing a fundamental part of setting this up?

My setup is a gateway route to network (10.0.11.0) and then to our cisco router (10.0.7.254)

Is there anything else I need to look at or any logs I can check.

    Are you sure that you set the complete routing way correctly?
    Also the route back on the Cisco?

    How do you check the connection to the branch network?

    Hi Scorpionking,

    I am testing at the weekend when the office is vacated and the UTM basically is taking place of the watchguard, IP's are the same, so paths back should be identical.

    I feel I am missing something silly, as I am new to all this is there any logs I can check?

    Does ICMP get blocked between gateways?

    ICMP is globally managed on the tab Network Protection -> Firewall -> ICMP.

    Superb, that was it. I knew it would be something silly. It was obviously working all along just that my traceroute was getting rejected by the firewall.
