Sophos and IPS are shitting the bed. It is breaking a ton of things. I was using IPS exceptions to get stuff working again while still leaving IPS on, but now even that tactic is failing.
Turning off IPS completely is now the only thing fixing all my issues. For better or worse - I am leaving it that way until a 100% fix is put in.
As of this afternoon, users couldn't even save files over the network to the share drives. I had to turn off IPS on both ends to get that working.
