interface based firewall rules

there are a way to set up a firewall rule based on the output interface? i've set up a policy routing rule to redirect outgoing smtp traffic trough a specific wan link (i've used a gateway rules for the smtp protocol) and i wanto open the smtp traffic only for the interface used for thi specific uplink ...

If you're talking about using the UTM's SMTP proxy and only binding it to one public interface there is not a way to do this that I know of. I'd love it if they added an option for that. Perhaps a feature request is in order.

We got around this by creating NAT rules that NAT inbound SMTP traffic into LaLa land (non active internal IP address) for all the SMTP ports (25, 465 and 578) except on the public IP address and interface desired.
