Dear Experts
We need to setup AirPlay to mirror content from iPads in VLAN1 to Macbook AirServers in VLAN2.
We already have configured our WLAN system (vendor support says it should work) and enabled IGMP (and disabled its IGMP Queriers) for VLAN1+2 on all of our HP Procurve switches in between.
Now the Sophos UTM425 (the firewall and gateway in the middle of all VLANs) has to be configured.
I enabled ... :
Network Protection > Firewall > ICMP > Allow ICMP through Gateway (I even did it including "Allow ICMP on Gateway", too)
NAT > Masquerading: VLAN1->VLAN2 and VLAN2->VLAN1
Firewall rules: from VLAN1 to VLAN2, allow ServiceSet1 (see below)
and from VLAN2 to VLAN1, allow Service Set1
and allow from Any to Any: Multicast DNS UDP Port 5353
ServiceSet1 Ports:
UDP 6012, TCP 5000, UDP 6010, UDP 6011, TCP 7000, TCP 7100
STILL it doesn't work!
It works having all WLAN clients in the same subnet/VLAN of course. Challenge/Requirement however is being described above.
Is there anybody out there who has done that before?
During my tests I could sometimes see it working but after while it disappeared again.
What is the secret?
