Apple iOS devices

Dear,

I do have a lot of problems with secure but functional configuration to allow IOS devices from inside the perimeter to function.

I'm looking for the best and easiest way to allow iOS devices to receive notifications, send and receive mail and allow VPN access from inside to outside.

I'm totally new to Sophos UTM 9.  If found some posts already but to be honest, there is a lot of conflicting advice around,

    Hi, G6, and welcome to the User BB!

    Even though you perceive the device as receiving notifications, it can only receive what it requests.  So, one alternative is to make a logged firewall rule like '{IP of my iOS device} -> Any -> Any : Allow'.  Now, you should be able to do everything and look in the Firewall log file later to see what you should allow so that you can be rid of the "Any" rule.  Any luck with that?
