Check user portal Allowed Networks, if your host name is resolvable in public DNS and if you can telnet to portal port from the outside (to eliminate firewall issues).
Hi, folks, I'm having the same problem. I can access the User Portal without any problems, while inside my LAN; however, I can't access it from the outside (i.e. not my internal LAN). My FQDN resolves in public DNS, and I can successfully PORTQRY or TELNET into the default port (TCP/443); however, I keep getting a "Not found" error: "HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found."
I have Any in the Management --> User Portal [Global] Allowed networks. I also have Any in the Management --> User Portal [Advanced] Network settings | Listen Address.
Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone have any ideas what I should be looking at?
Unfortunately, I never saw the GET requests (thanks for the pic), so that got me thinking, and I remembered that I had a NAT rule for TCP/443, because I haven't been able to get Exchange 2013 OWA working with a WAF profile; I think it's a problem with the way I exported the self-signed certificate, so I'll have to keep working on that, and I'll have to keep the NAT rule enabled, until I can get OWA working without the port forwarding rule.
Anyway,I changed the port for the UTM Portal; it's ugly, but it's working. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Now, I have to search on how to get OWA working...
