Multiple snort instances

Hello,

I've been searching online for a way to run multiple snort instances on the Sophos UTM. 

It seems that it's possible: You experience a lower level of performance than you expect on your UTM

I've followed the directions and now I have 2 snort instances running. However, when doing tests all the load seems to still fall on one instance, the other is just idle (even if the first one is maxed out at 100%). Seems like the load is not being split. 

Am I missing something in the config? 

I'm running the latest UTM version on my Atom 2550 machine.

    Dmitri, I think you have to multiple users for the second instance to be used.  William has posted extensively about this, and he recommends limiting Snort to a single instance when the user count is low.
