Two routers single UTM

Hi group,

I have a customer with two routers and two circuits.  One is for voice and the other is for data.  Currently, the nat'ing takes place on each router.  But that's all that routers do is route, we would like to use the UTM for additional features.

Would I be able to use a single multi interface sophos UTM to route two natted internal subnets to two routers?  My typical deployment uses the eth1 interface for outside traffic.

    Tom, I would put each of the routers in bridge mode so that the public IPs can be on two separate UTM interfaces.  I would use Uplink Balancing with Multipath rules binding the desired traffic to the desired interface.  Use QoS to limit the data traffic on the VoIP line in case the data line fails over to the VoIP line.

    I use 2 seperate ADSL routers in normal NAT mode and use them connected to a separate port on the UTM. I then have Uplink balancing with different multipath rules... for example web traffic (80) only goes over our second adsl line. All email and teamviewwer traffic goes over our first line.

    Bridging the routers/modems directly to the utm is a better choice as that means you can do proper port forwarding with the UTM, otherwise if you try and port forward you would need to first do that with the individual routers. Either way works the same.
