Strange Routing Issue

Recently I built a UTM with 3 interfaces.

1 is going to WAN.

2 is connected to a switch on X.X.1.1 connected all wired devices.

3 is connected to a DDWRT that I setup as a pure WAP on X.X.2.1

Devices on both subnets are getting IPs from DHCP and can connect to the internet just fine.

The issue is my main PC on X.X.1.X can see and ping every device on X.X.2.X but any device on X.X.2.X cannot see or ping devices on X.X.1.X. This is rather annoying as my NAS is on the 1 subnet.

I have allowed traffic between subnets on the firewall.

Hi,

a. you don't need static routes unless you have NATs on the DDWRT (AP mode shouldn't be NATing).

b. check the RULZ; especially look at the logs

c. check the host firewalls (e.g. Windows firewall)

I rebuilt everything from the ground up on 9.111-7 and it all seems to be working. We'll see if Up2Date breaks it or if it was a bad rule somewhere.
