I am relatively new to Sophos UTM's and am having an issue I cannot get figured out.
background:
3 PC's which each run an application which all require a separate IP address, over specific service ports.
5 External Comcast Ip's assigned to Comcast Router in bridged mode. Primary WAN address defined in UTM as primary interface. 4 additional addresses defined in UTM.
I need the traffic from PC1 to go out the primary address and return to it that way. PC2 should use the second address, and PC3 the third address.
have DNAT rule built - primary IP using specified service returns to PC1
have DNAT rule built - second IP using specified service returns to PC2
have DNAT rule built - third IP using specified service returns to PC3
I need the outbound traffic to go out the corresponding address, not all of them out the primary which is what was happening.
So - I created Masquerade rules for each of them
PC1 using specified service use WAN address1.
PC2 using specified service use WAN address2.
PC3 using specified service use WAN address3.
The only other masquerade rule is the main one - now listed fourth below these three which is any internal traffic go out the primary address.
I am still unable to get this application to work. When all of them were using the primary address whichever one runs the application first works, the other two fail with (IP/PORT in use). Now none of them work. Is there another way I should be doing this?
