Limiting Download Speeds with QOS

Hey everyone,

I did a search and found a decent thread on this of course now I cant find it, but it didnt help me or I'm doing it wrong.  I'm basically just trying to limit one of my hosts (pc's) download speed.  So rather than getting the full 30MB when downloading a large file(s) limit it to like 1MB, thats' in bytes not bits.

I made a traffic selector, source internet, service any, destination (my pc 192.168.1.3), then made a bandwidth pool.  However the bandwidth isnt dropping and I'm getting like the full amount.

Any insight on this one?  I'm running UTM 9 (9.108-23)

Hi, you might need to put this on the internal/LAN interface, and make sure you have QoS enabled for that interface.

Hi Barry,

Where do you enable it on the interface? I don't see it anywhere in Interfaces & Routing --> Interfaces -- click edit on internal

Also, if I'm in Interfaces & Routing --> QOS --> Status --> Internal EDIT both Downloading and upload optimizer is enabled ( maybe thats what you mean? )

Ideas?
