Spotify and SOCKS5 proxy

just tested to configure spotify on Windows to user SOCKS5 proxy.
Host: IP address of my UTM
Post: 1080
User: 
Password: 

Looking in the SOCKS log in UTM, I get these errors:

014:04:13-17:20:10 fw sockd[13029]: info: block(1): tcp/accept ]: 192.168.1.10.54338 192.168.1.1.1080: error after having read 26 bytes:  client protocol error
The SOCKS proxy works with Skype, so what can this be? A Spotify problem?
