Hi everyone,
I am looking for help regarding my VoIP settings.
Everything was working fine until recently, when my company's network security license expired. Unfortunately, we didn't identify the problem immediately, and we reset the factory settings while trying to fix it.
I tried to set everything properly when we got the new license, but most incoming calls cannot get through. When we restart a phone, it works for a few minutes and then stops receiving calls again.
I can make call without any issue, and I can ping the phones.
Obviously, there is something I didn't set properly.
Here is an overview of my network:
There is one interface with my ISP's modem: firewall: 192.168.1.2; modem: 192.168.1.1
One interface with the local network: firewall: 192.168.0.1; network: 192.168.0.0/24
Here is what I did, I hope someone can help:
- I enabled SIP and H323 protocol support, with the IP address of my VoIP provider in SIP server networks, and my internal network in SIP client networks
-same settings for H323
- I have a firewall rule 'Internal (network)' -> VoIP Protocols -> 'Any'
- Another rule : 'Server 3stars' (my provider) -> VoIP protocols -> 'Internal (network)'
I read in several threads that it might be useful to add a NAT rule, but I don't know how to set it up.
I know this is all vague. I'll try to answer your questions as best I can.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Matthieu
