Firewall setup for a Home User

Basically I have run some penetration testing and from out of the box setup I have seen some holes.  I would like to plug those holes up.
Right now I have created one rule that says: 

From:

External (WAN) (Address)

External (WAN) (Broadcast)

External (WAN) (Network)



Protocol Any



Destination Any



Action: DROP


Is that correct if I want to plug all external holes?

Also for IPS all I have in the LOCAL NETWORKS is: Internal (Network).


Here are the results of the pentest on a default firewall setting that comes right after install:

    Hi

    You do not need an explicit deny rule. The UTM has a default deny rule which takes action if no other rule works.

    Also when you use some services make shure you have only the needed networks under "allowed networks" (ssh, web proxy, etc.).

    As far as i know, the Port 25 (Mail) cannot be closed but thats not a Problem. If you don't use Mail Protection there are no mails accepted, as far as i know you can't even connect on Port 25 with deactivated Email Protectiob
