Using the QoS sticky at the top, I configured my QoS for VoIP all on the the external (wan) interface. Is this correct? For whatever reason I am second guessing myself and feel like I might want QoS turned enabled on the internal instead.
Assuming the interface is correct (external (wan)), does the Limit uplink help or hurt? I put in a value of 6000kbs in uplink, then selected limit box, as the description in the help makes it seem like a valuable option.
Currently pay for 20m up/down. See about 18/15. But then have another firewall (speed capped) at 6/6. sharing the connection. So in reality I get like 12/9 to the Sophos.
I am just trying to get my VoIP phones the properly bandwidth and it honestly feels like nothing is working properly. Last week it was great, but this week the calls are plagued with quality issues.
Thanks!
Jim
