QoS-Bandwidth pool

Hi,

Hope anyone can help me.

Is bandwidth pool works on ASG220 V8. I tried lots but cannot success to limit the bandwidth using bandwidth pool over different VLANs.

    Hi,

    I'm not sure about 8.x, but 9.x can have QoS pools assigned on each VLAN virtual interface.

    I understand you want to control internet bandwidth.

    I was pointing out that your current settings are trying to limit incoming/download bandwidth, but would need to be on the VLAN 21 interface to actually work.
    Also, you might have to upgrade to 9.x to achieve that.

    I'm not sure I understand your last sentence, but if you can change the interface on the bandwidth selector, you should change it to VLAN21/Press.

    Also, for outgoing/upload bandwidth, you need another pool/selector.

    Finally I start upgrade my asg220 v8 to v9, between that some more clerification with example....

    I really don't understand, whats wrong with me. If I am not taking any mistake, my config as below.... (an example for VLAN 21/press- internet limit should be 256kbps)(Take VLAN - 21/Press, ISP - You Broadband)

    Status--> For VLAN 21/press:
      Download: 102400, Upload: 102400 (for gbps data transfer           with others VLANs..if i m right..!!)
      Limit uplink: mark
      Download Equalizer: Mark
      Upload Optimizer: mark

    For Download::
    Traffic Selector--> Name: Dowload 21/press
        any IPV4 -> any-> 21/Press(Netowrk)
    Bandwidth pool--> Bound Interface: You Broadband(ISP)
      Bandwidth: 1
      Limit: 256
      Traffic Selector: Download 21/press

    For Upload::
    Traffic Selector--> Name: Upload 21/press
        any IPV4 ->any -> You broadband(Network)
    Bandwidth pool-->Bound Interface: 21/press
     Bandwidth: 1
     Limit 256
     Traffic Selector: Upload 21/press

    (Above config is not working...!!!)

    One more quation is in snap-5 attached....
