Route a public net behind utm

Back Ground,

Our ISP is going to give us a new /27 that they are going to point to one of the unused IPs in our current /29

Question,

How do get that /27 to be publicly routed.

Example i wanted to hang a server on one of the /27 ips wide open to the world(No firewall

    Hi Neshi,

    Someone more familiar with this scenario will hopefully chime in but on the UTM, I don't believe there is much you have to do. As long as your ISP is publicly advertising the UTM's IP in the /29 as the route to the /27 network, and the two networks are directly connected to the UTM, the UTM will know what to do as it automatically creates routes for directly connected interfaces. You'll just have to create firewall rules permitting traffic.

    One of my deployments is pretty much the same as what you're doing I think. My datacenter issued me a /30 that they route and put a static routed /28 to one of those IPs. I set the WAN of the UTM to be the IP from their pool and the internal interface to be the /28.
