I know this has been posted 100 times already, my appologies for this but for whatever reason I can't seem to find the right post that helps me get uTorrent working in UTM 9.1 (Latest build as of 10.25.13).
I've been able to open up ports for other services like Steam and Usenet, but uTorrent has really tired me out. [:O]
Can someone kindly and simply explain how to set it up using UTM 9.1? I know this....I need 1 Inbound Firewall Rule, 1 Outbound Firewall Rule, and 1 DNAT rule. Is this correct?
I would like to know how to setup each firewall rule...
Inbound
a) Sources = Any or Internal(address or Network)?
b) Serivces = Ports?
c) Destinations = Any or External (Address)
Outbound:
a) Sources = Internal(address or Network) or Any?
b) Services = Ports?
c) Destinations = External (Address) or Any?
NAT: For the NAT rules just one rule? DNAT?
Rule Type = DNAT?
Matching Condition:
a) For Traffic from: ANY or External (Address)
b) Using Service: Ports? (for example 41566)
c) Going to: Internal or External?
Action:
a) Change the dest. to: 192.168.1.1 (IP address of server running uTorrent)
b) and the service to: the same port as the matching condition? Right?
Check Automatic Firewall Rule?
Then Save?
