Getting blocked from my NAS

Hi I have a qnap NAS system, when I try and connect to it via the https web portal i get.

2013:10:10-22:35:30 keywest snort[10703]: id="2101" severity="warn" sys="SecureNet" sub="ips" name="Intrusion protection alert" action="drop" reason="MALWARE-OTHER self-signed SSL certificate with default Internet Widgits Pty Ltd organization name" group="500" srcip="192.168.1.2" dstip="192.168.1.14" proto="6" srcport="443" dstport="63744" sid="19551" class="Potential Corporate Privacy Violation" priority="1" generator="1" msgid="0"

Is there a way set exemptions for just one rule without stopping IPS functionality for my entire NAS?
