So, if I try to access a webpage hosted on our network from outside our network by going to www.vostok1.com. We get to the webpage fine. However, if we drop the www (i.e.: just enter vostok1.com), we get "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access / on this server." It's going somewhere, I just don't know where.
BTW, the webserver serves the pages fine internally. And when I watch the logs I see traffic when access internally without the www, but nothing when accessing external to the network.
When I watch the Firewall logs, I can see NAT information come up for port 80 when accessing the www.vostok1.com. But nothing for vostok1.com.
Finally, our DNS records seem to be all correct.
So, what is it on Astaro Firewall (ASG120, v 8.133) that could be blocking or redirecting this traffic? Where do I look for logs on this?
BTW, another proof that it is going somewhere else would be to check the headers for the requests. Here they are:
