Are additional addresses included automatically?

Hi All,

I have a few additional addresses attached for my internal network. When I create firewall rules and I specify the source as the internal network will the rule automatically include the additional addresses attached to that network? Or do I need to add them to source as well?

Cheers,

Jake.

  • Hi,
I'm not sure I understand what the additional addresses are for.
Are they all on the same LAN subnet? Why?

If they're different subnets, you can create a Network Group which includes all of them, and put that in your firewall rule.
I'd recommend VLANs though, if possible, instead of multiple subnets on the same Layer2.
