is this possible with country/email exception

Running 9102-8 and know there is currently a bug with country exceptions but have a situation I don't see if exactly possible.

I have country blocking turned on for say china, But I have one user email that wants to get an email from china.  In the exceptions it only shows hosts not users/email address for from or to.   

Currently I have planned on putting in the country exception for smtp server from china, but that will allow all china to email all my users.  

Hope what im asking is clear, and you can find a better way to do what I want accomplished, thank you.

ps is the fix slated for 9.104 to fix exceptions?

    Barry, is there a reason you wouldn't use a DNS Host/Group definition for the sender's mailserver?  I think it would be almost impossible to have a Country Blocking Exception apply to anything other than IP addresses/ranges.

    I don't have a list a people he will be communicating in these countries, He is in charge of a international group and there is 1,000 members around the world, so I just want his inbound email not be use the country blocking.  I was thinking exception where the to was hisemail@company.com .

    Do you think they would be able to add as a long-term enhancement like in 10 or something?

    as Bob said country blocking is for host based
    You can use Dns Host and make exception for that:
    mail.company-china.com

    It seems that your best bet is an SMTP Exception for Country Blocking.  Either that, or an outside mail service for him using @company.cn, for example.

    Yep I agree, the problem is that country exceptions is not working correctly yet, any idea what update that is supposed to be in, I see they put that as a sticky note.

    I thought the bug was for outbound mail only - you should be able to make an exception for mail coming from China.
