DMZ on vmware for guest os

Hello , 

How do i setup a dmz on vmware ,i have windows and ubuntu installed on vmware as a guest and i want this two guest os should act as a dmz to astaro ,i tryed with portgroup but still it is taking local ip address i have configure dmz network for window and ubuntu with differant network ip address/range 

how to setup a static ip address for ubuntu dmz (is it same way as we do on regular hardware box )

i have upgrade vmware from 5,0 to 5.1 .I am using free version of vmware hypervisior

    • Create an additional network in vmware

      • when the network should communicate with other devices you have to use a dedicated nic
      • when the communication remains in the virtual network you don´t have to add a nic

    • edit vm utm and add the new network
    • add a new interface in utm
    • change vm-network for the vms which should act together with the new utm interface
    • configure notworking for each vm
