[BUG][9.004-33] Port 37777 Blocked?

Hello everyone,

After the update to 9.004-33 firmware, our test Sophos UTM 9 was not allowing our remote DVR viewing using TCP Port 37777 (DVR).  Prior to the update, it was fine.

If anyone has any idea on this, please help us resolve this.

    Hi,

    Is the DVR service trying to initiate connections into a device in your house?

    If so, then you presumably need a DNAT and packetfilter rule for port 9673 to your internal device.

    If not, then please explain, in detail, what is where and connecting to what.

    Hello Barry, figured it out. Basically when I updated the firmware - it introduced port 37777 to application control --> skype. When I allowed skype, my remote viewing of DVR was ok.
