QOS Voice Vlan

Hello:

Currently:

6mb bandwidth, both ways. Have a Voice Vlan 100. Need QOS to give voice priority.

A little confused on how to do this. I have set the status on External with uplink and download speed specified, and download equalizer checked.

Created a traffic selector for SIP protocols.

Created a bandwidth pool on External for 1024, no upper limit and voice traffic selected. Is that all I need to do?

Hi cfrtech1,

Is this not working? What problems are you seeing? Have you checked the Intrusion Prevention log to be sure you're not having traffic stopped by Anti-DoS Flooding?

Does not seem to be effective. IPS is off. Everytime a start a download, voice is affected. Not so much on the upload.

IPS is not what I worry about in such situations, but the log has other information.
