Im reasonably proficient with most networking, and have been using Cisco and Watchguards for a few years now, but for some reason I am struggling with UTM 9 NAT rules.
so, for example.
My NAS uses port 8888 to allow access to its web interface
So my DNAT rule shows
Traffic from: Any
Using service: 1-65535:8888
Going to WAN
Action
Change Dest:
Service to: 1-65535:8888
Automatic Firewall Rule ticked (however in the manual it does state that an applicable firewall needs to also be set for DNAT rules (a bit like NAT and ACL in cisco)
I can see the Firewall accepting the request on my from my IP address at work to the public IP of my UTM but then there is no traffic passed to my remote browser, i.e the NAS web interface doesnt load.
Any hints here?
