Unable to access certain website after deploy astaro bridge mode

Hi All,

As per subject above, I'm planning to configure astaro as transparent firewall which configured using Bridge option.

I have successfully configure Astaro as transparent however after configure bridge option certain website is unccessible and except website with that use https [:@].

Beside from thread below does anyone successfully configured Astaro as transparent mode?

    Please say whether you have the Web Proxy in "Transparent Mode" or "Full transparent" and that 'Scan HTTPS (SSL) Traffic' is not selected.

    I have try using all option that you mention including disable web security and the result is still same. Thanks [:(]

    Please [Go Advanced] below and attach a picture of 'Global Web Filtering settings'.

    Also, open the Lve Logs for 'Firewall' and 'Web Filtering', and then try a site you can reach and a site that is blocked.  Please show the contents of both logs for those trials.

    The message says 'host Not found' - i think this is a DNS issue. Please describe/Show your DNS Setup.

    I also suggest to change the allowed networks from ans to your internal network.

    Hi Manfred,

    Current DNS configuration is blank, currently Astaro configured as bridge mode with web filtering option enable and client receive IP & DNS from Watchguard firewall which is 8.8.8.8 as primary

    Does it work if you change from "Transparent Mode" to "Full transparent?"

    Hi Bob,

    I just notice without configure bridge and web security transparent features enable I'm also  having same issue to access http website [:S].

    Does any services need to check or restart on astaro appliance?[:S], since I have another astaro ASG220 box I'll revert back the status if still encounter same error and by the way both appliance upgrade to V9. Thanks[:)]
