RDP blocking

We have a Windows Terminalserver (RDP) with tcp/3389 open public.
In the last weeks users tend to use iphones and ipads with special rdp-clients to connect to this server, usually they have to use their windows-notebooks (which are prepared in several ways) for that.

Is there a possibility to block rdp-connects from these devices and only allow connects from windows-machines?

    Hi,

    I don't think that you can solve this in ASG. Maybe you can do something on your TS. With newer RDP/windows versions there a some possibilities to influence the behavior.

    I believe the only way this will work is if you have a DHCP server that assigns static IP address reservations to the clients that you do not want to have RDP sessions. You will then need to create a packet filter rule that blocks RDP from these clients.
