I am trying to set up my new camera system for my house to view online. I can see it on my network with the software without a problem but puzzled on how to set it up for online viewing. Below are the details for the setup. it uses port 5000 to view from. I am using dyndns as well. I have not used actual information but enough for me to replace a few things to get to work.
camera system internal ip address: 192.168.2.100:5000
dyndns name: myhome.dyndns.org
I would like to be able to put in my dyndns name and the port number to see the camera system. the camera system also says i can use the hostname of the camera system through there site as well (ie x55a603.nuvicoconnect.com:5000) but i believe you don't use dyndns for that. I want to use dyndns. the camera system has dyndns setup in the menu where i put in my username and password for dyndns.
