WAF or NAT to forward traffic for specific Hosts

Hello,

first a short view on my environment and my need:
- ASG120 Appliance with latest Updates
- 1 SDSL Internetline with 1 public IP
I try to route/forward traffic from internet to specific internal hosts.
We have an exchange, citrix web interface and another web applications that should run on tcp443 via ssl from external. My wish is to use separate public hostnames like citrix.outdomain.com, owa.ourdomain.com... each one with a separate ssl certificate and adressed from internet via https://citrix.ourdomain.comhttps://owa.ourdomain.com...

Is it possible to configure the astaro to route the incoming traffic on our external interface on tcp443 based on the addressed target host (citrix.ourdomain.com...) to the correct internal server?

Is there a working solution with one public ip, a separate ssl certificate for each targethost/service...?

Regards,
Patrick

  • This is an interesting question, Patrick.  I expected Barry's prescription to work.

Maybe you could ask your reseller to submit a support request to Sophos/Astaro and then share their answer with the rest of us?

    Cheers - Bob
