Load Balanced Server features

Hi Everyone,

Hopefully someone can assist me with this problem, currently customer required to enable load balanced on 2 physical server that successfully configured.

However due to security & application issue, they required that all connection application and port 2404 must go through virtual server.

Problem im facing right now is that application unable to establish connection  on port 2404 through the virtual server but success if telnet direct to physical server without go through virtual server.

Appreciate if some can assist or guide on Load Balance Features setting. Thanks

    My guess is that you have Load Balancing configured correctly, but that you have a routing problem.

    Please confirm that the Host definitions for the servers have 'Interface: >' and are not bound to a specfic interface.

    Are you testing from inside the Astaro?  You might need a Full-NAT in that case.

    Hi Bob,

    Refer from network packet capture that customer provide which is connection straight to Physical server and connection through Astaro.

    I suspect that system unable to synchronize/receive packet that go through Astaro is due to encrypted protocol, does this is standard network packet receive when enable Server Load Balance option ?. Thanks

    Hi Bob,

    Yes, we test the system from inside using same Astaro box and NAT has been configured, however we  suspect that the issue is related with client RTU unit which didn't configured gateway IP which caused this issue as per last week troubleshooting with great help from Ben Hodge from Astaro.

    As per last week troubleshooting systems is working and we still monitor and waiting feedback from customer this week if the troubleshooting solved the issue. Thanks
