Difference between Download and Upload Speedtest

Quality of Service
External Interface - Total Uplink Bandwidth and Total Downlink Bandwidth both set to 10240
Limit Uplink - NOT Checked
Download Equalizer - NOT Checked
Upload Optimizer - CHECKED

Whenever I run a speedtest directly from my ISP router, I get approx. the same Download and Upload speeds (pretty close to the 10MB I should be getting). When I run the same speedtest from my computer going through the Astaro, there is a 1MB+ difference between the speeds, with Upload being the slowest (for example, download 8.5MB, Upload 7.2MB). I understand there is going to be some overhead processing through the Astaro but 1MB worth?

I have tried turning off the Upload Optimizer but that doesn't seem to make much difference.

I have QoS setup for my VOIP traffic, could that be causing the difference? I will attach some screenshots to show my settings.

    The only thing I would venture a guess at would be the traffic selector that forces all outbound traffic to be examined for DSCP bits.  I don't know if it would make any difference, but what if you limited the selector to VoIP protocols?

    Also, I don't know if it was a glitch that has been fixed, but in V7, it wasn't a good idea to both have QoS rules and use Upload Optimizer on an interface.
