Junos Pulse VPN disconnects

Hello All, 

I am using a Junos Pulse Client to connect to my Corporate VPN and am experiencing disconnect issues.  I have been through the ringer with tech support at work and we have concluded that it is My Astaro Home Firewall that is the cause.

The issue is this, after being connected for a long period 8+ hours the VPN seems to terminate, however the client feels that it is still connected.  So, that is to say, My Pulse Client is showing a connection, however I am not able to connect to anything at work and all existing connections have been terminated.

Anyone have any ideas as to what I need to fix/change on my end?

    Ran across your post and I am having exact same issues with Network Connect running on an SA6000 Cluster. NC establishes and gets an IP assigned by static pool and functions on network fine. Without warning or error the NC client changemonitor reports an 'Unknown Interface Change' in the NC logs and proceeds to strip the IP and DNS entries from the Juniper Virtual Adapter and eventually assigns an auto-assign IP of 169.x.x.x and never recovers from this. To reset NC I must exit NC and relaunch to re-establish connection, IP, and functionality on the network.

    Were you ever able to resolve this issue? Please reply with any info, leads, or resolution you were successful with. Appreciate it! Thank you.

    We have made some progress on this issue today and determined it is two factors... First, is an outdated Juniper Networks Virtual Adapter [v5.2.0 jnprvamgr.sys, jnprva.sys, 11/18/2009] as the issue does not occur when the adpater is removed manually from Windows\system32\drivers and reinstalled using the new [7.x] Network Connect. In fact, the new driver is completely new [dsNcAdpt.sys v7.2 04/24/2012] and does not exhibit the problem. Second, after getting it functioning properly installing the ForeScout NAC solution on the Endpoint causes the same behavior but the NC logs do not show the same outputted errors. Still troubleshooting this piece, may be a policy.
