Astaro Home w/ Linksys N-Router (WAP)

Astaro Home Edition v8.301 (TimeWarner cable WAN)
Linksys N-Router configured as WAP (switchport of Linksys plugged into Astaro)

Everything functions as expected OUTBOUND. However, I cannot communicate with the internal network via RDP or even ICMP when connected through the SSL VPN. 
I can ping the Linksys from the Astaro as well as a PC that is connected wirelessly. I cannot ping the Linksys or PC from my connecting machine from the SSL VPN. (NAT-T issue?)
If I am phyiscally in the network with this same PC connected wirelessly to the Linksys WAP, I can ping both the Linksys WAP and the other PC without issue.

I tried countless attempts/modifications to the NAT and Firewall rules but no luck. I support a few of the paid versions in the field and do not have any such issue.

Additionally, a colleague of mine just confirmed that he has the same issue, with a very similar setup. However, he seems to remember this being functional on a previous Astaro code. Any ideas? Thank you!

    Hi A-ron, you list that you have your ASG "internal lan" (i assume) plugged into the non-wan (normal switchport) on the linksys right? You should also then disable the SPI (packet filter) in the linksys configuration totally, as having a firewall behind a firewall isnt necessary.

    Are you also using ASG as the DHCP server, in that you have the linksys set as the DHCP forwarder? also you should make sure the linksys has the internal IP of the ASG as its "gateway" to avoid problems.

    Lastly, i assume with the config your not doing any kind of nat (again because the wan port is unused on the linksys) so that everything is in the same subnet/range?
