Minecraft Server

Hello, I've read every minecraft server post on this forum and while my symptoms are similar, they did not help me resolve the issue.  Basically, on the WAN network I can connect to my server, with horrible lag, and then about 2 minutes later it kicks me off with a timed out error.  I watched the server stats and it clearly shows sending data right at the log in and after about 5 seconds it does not send any data at all, but it will receive data the whole time until I am kicked off.  On the LAN network it works fine, so I suspecting this is a firewall issue.  I have attached a screen shot of my DNAT and the group it uses.

Edit:
I forgot to mention everything is on an ESXi server that has 2 NIC's.  One NIC is the WAN and one is the LAN.  Astaro routes between them.  The minecraft server is running on another guest VM on the same ESXi server.

    I have set it up and will have someone try it now.  Thanks for the quick responses.

    Hello again.  I tried those settings and I am still having the same problems where the server appears to receive data but will send no data out, and eventually times out.

    ats1080 follow bob's advise. I just changed my rule to any, and was getting the same issue as you. Works fine as my External Address tho.

    also makes more sense if your on the same network for you to use the Lan IP
     

    I would recommend using the LAN IP Address to connect locally, however using the external IP address should work fine (I have a couple Minecraft servers setup behind an ASG 8.300.)


    I should have read those more carefully and explained. This is a public minecraft server so I will be connecting to the local address but obviously friends will be using my public IP.
