Reject All Rule?

Hello,
I was under the impression that e rule like this would effectively block all traffic??

Internal NetWork
Any
Any
Reject

But as you can see the interfaces keep showing traffic!

Is the rule incorrect or its something else ??

If the rule is wrong which parameters should I use to prevent all traffic from passing, and it shows no traffic (On the external interface the one showing 1 Mbit with the rule in place)

Thanks

  • Thanks Balfson,
Apparently my backups have the same problem.

But if I understand if I disable web filter it should tell if the problem is there
    Correct?
  • what does iftop -i ethx (where x is the interface you are seeing traffic on) show you?  You would need to run this from the Console logged on as Root.  Entering the letter 'q' will exit.
