External address as client?

In the daily summaries for my Astaro Security Gateway I'm seeing a fair amount of data for my ISP-assigned external IP address in the Top 10 Clients list.

I'm seeing data for things like my VPN service and mobile broadband, which I would expect when my machines are serving data to me when I'm out and about, but I'm not sure why the external IP address itself would be a client.

Can someone please tell me what it means when the external IP address is a client?

Pattern updates and the like for the astaro are usually what that type of traffic is.

Ah, that explains that then.

I had wondered if it was the Astaro's traffic, but thought that would be against it's internal IP.
