NAT + Automatic Firewall Rules

Hi everyone,

I configured a SNAT Rule with "automatic firewall rule" enabled.

"Internal Network" - ANY Protocol - "Target Network"

I'm aware of the fact that I can't see the automatic Rules on webadmin.

But what firewall rules are automatically being created in the background?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers M

  • But what firewall rules are automatically being created in the background?

    {your Source translation IP} - ANY Protocol - "Target Network" : Allow

PS This looks like it might be a situation where a masq-type rule is used as a band-aid for a misconfiguration.  What are you trying to accomplish?
