We have an Ethernet-over-copper 10 Meg circuit coming through a router to our Astaro 220. We also have a T1 going to another router for our voice packets that is not managed by our firewall. This T1 has a webcam and a few other devices on it to keep them off Ethernet-over-copper connection. These two routers are configured to allow manual failover to each other.
The problem I have is that from behind our firewall, I cannot access the webcam's html page (64.22.200.68) for that the image. Outside of our network, the camera can be accessed fine. My ISP is telling me that to address this I need to "just add a route to the firewall" in the configuration of "route outside 64.22.200.68 255.255.255.255 64.22.204.22". The 64.22.204.22 is an address in our “upstream” range.
In looking at the Astaro documentation, I have figured out that this likely needs to be a "Gateway" type static route, but I am a little fuzzy on the "Network" and "Gateway" settings. Is the "Network" the 64.22.200.68? This should not be listed a host, but rather a "Network" in the Astaro definition? On the "Gateway", this should be also be a "network" and should be the 64.22.204.22, correct?
I appreciate your help!
Scott
