Port forwarding for a Mincraft server

Hi all,

I was going to ask some questions but managed to get it working first.
Here is what I did.

I have created a static mapping for the server

network services-dhcp-static mappings
dhcp server:internal ipv4
mac address:00:0f .... etc (whatever your servers mac is)
ipv4 address:192.168.2.99

then created a network definition

definitions and users-network definition
name:minecraft server
type:host
interface:any
ipv4 address:192.168.2.99

then created a service definition

definitions and users-service definitions
name:minecraft service
type of definition:tcp/udp
destination port:25565
source port:1:65535

then created a nat rule

network security-nat-dnat/snat

group:no group
position:1
traffic source:any
traffic service:minecraft service
traffic destination:External (WAN)
NAT mode: DNAT
destination:Minecraft server
log initial packets:tick (optional)

press the red button to make it green

now made a firewall rule

network security-firewall-rules
group:no group
position:6
source:any
service:minecraft service
destination:minecraft server
action:allow
time period:always

press the red button to make it green

Happy Minecrafting
