QoS for Gaming help?

Ok, so i started using astaro about....well since 8 came out. anyways im enjoying it, and i havent had any issues whatso ever until now.

We just had a new roommate move in, who seems to enjoy hoging all the bandwidth. 
What i would like to do is Prioritize Outgoing bandwidth for Online Gaming for myself and the gf.

If got all the host definitions ready, and the gaming service ports grouped together, but im having issues putting it all together.

So any help would be great. tried reading the documentation for most of the features where really helpful, but QoS seems to be abit blah to me, 

so what im asking for is steps to set up QoS on my WAN Interface, than steps for the bandwidth pools / Traffic Selector. Because all the options are making me spinny spinny.

EDIT: i forgot, my bandwidth specs are 16-14mb/1mb

    easy thing to do?  Set your roomie to a static ip via the astaro dhcp server..then qos ALL of his traffic down to half of your bandwidth(or less)...aka half of the bandwidth of external outgoing goes to him max and half of outgoing internal is his max.  he will then run at 8/.5..problem solved.

    Thanks William, i did consider something like this. But i live in shared accommodation, and i now plan on doing this QoS for longterm results. The house we live in is huge, so we have 7 people living there atm, All with laptops, smartphones, and some with desktops + consoles.

    I plan on setting a few rules for longterm results, so hopefully i wont run into this problem again.

    I wanna start with a few simple rules, than work my way up if i need to.
