Astaro 320

Hi there,
I am planning to istalled Astaro 320 behind my router cisco 2911 (running my IOS firewall and static IP mappings). Basically it would only be sniffing traffic and will not play anypart in routing or forwading ports. Do I still need to put DNAT/SNAT entries? (this job is done by my router 2911? do I still need to put firewall rules?

Hi, Astaro can't run as a passive sniffer, but you could put it in bridged mode.

YOu would want to put it in bridged mode, and configure a any to any rule in the packet filter / firewall settings so it will pass traffice transparently.
