Route Port 9997 to internal Lan from internet WAN

Hi All

i need to route the TCP Port 9997 to an internal server.

I tried this option scenario 3 as i have an external IP for this server but had no success.

I can see the connection NAT in gray and looks good. i can see the packet rule in green. BUT then nothing happen..

route back?

2 interfaces LAN / WAN

ASG 8.202
DSL bridge in front WAN using PPOE. Second WAN address attached to WAN internface.

any help is highly appreciated!

I think you found the problem - you need to set the server to have the Astaro as its default gateway, or to set a route in it to the Astaro.

A less-elegant solution would be a Full-NAT with "Internal (Address)" as the 'Source' translation.

In general, when making a NAT rule, if you aren't changing the service, leave those fields blank instead of just repeating the service used in the traffic selector portion of the rule.

What about masquerading the internal to the external WAN?

And how would a ful DNAT look like?

traffic source - any
traffice service - dest 9997
traffice destination - wan address

FULL NAT
destination - ??
destination service - blank

source - ??
source service - blank

ok, changed the route to Asatro AS default GW.
now it works !
