Is it Possible to Create Firewall Rules via Console/SSH ?

Dear Helpers

you have been a great resource in the last time! Maybe you can help me with the following:

NOT using the WebUI: How can I add or change firewall/packet filter rules on the Astaro using the SSH login or directly on the console?

There must be a way. I didn't find any Howto until now because it is no official option I suppose. But due to it is Linux based...

    Don't do that. Your modifications will be overridden by any ASG middleware cycle or a simple reboot!

    Login via SSH, become root and check out the Confd CLI Client 'cc'. With this nifty tool you can do *anything* and even more than what's possible via the WebAdmin. The only thing WebAdmin can talk to is the Confd, so...

    Can you explain the confd method in more detail? Since the date above I never restarted this ASG but your note made me think of it again.

    How can I set up things using the ConfD to make it safe even for after boot work?
