Access webinterface of ADSL Modem

Hi,

I have the following setup:

Internal Network --- ASG --- Modem --- Internet

My goal is to reach the webinterface of the Modem. I tried to add a additional IP adress to the WAN Interface of the ASG and added an NAT rule for that forwards from port 8888 from ASG to port 80 on the modem, but that didn't worked.

Can you give me a hint for solving my problem?

    Hello RFCat_vk, I use the Transparent HTTP-Proxy at home as well, but I also have Masquerading configured for my LAN to be able to use all other applications to access the Internet. I have spoof protection 'OFF', though.

    Hi Mario,
    thank you for the update.

    I must be doing something wrong, because the only packets I see are the dropped syn packets in the network security log. With or without the nat (MASQ) rule.

    I have the adsl modem setup to use the ASG extra interface as the gateway and DNS.

    A side issue, but no traffic shows up in the live web log from any source.
